WEIGHT LIMIT ON HARLAN ROAD FROM U.S. 41 to S.R. 159

5 – 100.1      Purpose

It is the purpose of this ordinance to control the tonnage weight of said areas.

5 – 100.2      General Provisions

The tonnage weight shall be twenty-five (25) ton limit on Harlan Road, Fast of U.S. 41 to State Road 159.

5 – 100.3      Penalties

Violation of this Ordinance is punishable by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), plus Court Costs, at the discretion of the court.

5 – 100.4      Repealer

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

5 – 100.5      Severability Clause

If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

5 – 100.6      Effective Date

Passed and adopted by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners this 3rd day of June, 1997.
