SUBDIVISIONS

5 – 100.2-1.1

It is the purpose of this Ordinance to facilitate the orderly and safe flow of traffic in the following subdivisions: RODIGHIERO SUBDIVISION, MANTIA SUBDIVISION, RICHLAND MANOR SUBDIVISION.

5 – 100.2-1.2      General Provisions

Except when a special hazard exists that requires a lower speed, the maximum speed limit shall be thirty (30) miles per hour on East Rodighiero Avenue in Rodighiero Subdivision; on Betty Jean Lane, Charlie Lane, and Boener Court in Mantia Subdivision; and Grayburn Court, East Manor Drive, West Manor Drive, South Manor Drive, Trailwood Drive, South Shelly Street, South Stacy Street, Audubon Court, Manor Place, Richland Court, Sunrise Court, and South Manor Street in Richland Manor Subdivision.

5 – 100.2-1.3      Penalties

Violation of this Ordinance is punishable by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), plus Court Costs, at the discretion of the court.

5 – 100.2-1.4      Repealer

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

5 – 100.2-1.5      Severability Clause

If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

5 – 100.2-1.6      Effective Date

      To be passed and adopted this 27th day of July, 1998 by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners.
