CHAPTER 99

WEIGHT LIMITS ON TRINITY ROAD AND RANGE LINE ROAD

5 – 99.1      Purpose

It is the purpose of this Ordinance to control the tonnage weight of said areas.

5 – 99.2      General Provisions

The tonnage weight shall be fifteen (15) ton limit on Trinity Road, East of Range Line Road to State Road 150 and from Range Line Road south to State Road 150.

5 – 99.3      Penalties

Violation of this Ordinance is punishable by a tine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), plus Court Costs, at the discretion of the court.

5 – 99.4      Repealer

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

5 – 99.5      Severability Clause

      If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

5 – 99.6      Effective Date

Passed and adopted by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners this 23rd day of September, 1996.
