CHAPTER 93

4-WAY STOP AT OREGON CHURCH RD & HUTCHINSON ST.

5 – 93.1      Purpose

It is the purpose of this Ordinance to facilitate the orderly and safe flow of traffic with a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Oregon Church Road & Hutchinson St. on a county highway intersection at the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of Section Southwest corner southeast quarter Section 6, Northeast corner northwest quarter section 7, northwest corner northeast quarter section 7, located in Township 10 North Range 8 West, Pierson Township, Vigo County, Indiana.

5 – 93.2      General Provisions

      The Vigo County Commissioners deem it necessary to place a 4-way stop sign at this intersection to maintain safety in the flow of traffic on the above county roads of Oregon Church Road Hutchinson St. in Vigo County, Indiana.

5 – 93.3      Penalties

      Violation of this Ordinance is punishable by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) plus Court Costs, at the discretion of the court.

5 – 93.4      Severability Clause

      If any section, provision, ox part of this Ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

5 – 93.5      Effective Date

      Passed and adopted by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners this 3rd day of October, 1994.
