CHAPTER 91

4-WAY STOP AT W. FRENCH DRIVE & S.SULLIVAN PLACE

5 – 91.1      Purpose

It is the purpose of this Ordinance to facilitate the orderly and safe flow of traffic with a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of W. French Drive and S.

Sullivan Place, on a county highway intersection at the southeast corner of Section 19, Southwest corner of Section 20, northwest corner of Section 29, northeast corner of Section 30, located in Township 10 North, Range 9 west, Linton Township, Vigo County, Indiana.

5 – 92.2      General Provisions

      The Vigo County Commissioners deem it necessary to place a       4-way stop sign at this intersection to maintain safety in the flow of traffic on the above county roads of W. French Dr. & S. Sullivan Pl. in Vigo County, Indiana.

5 – 91.3      Penalties

      Violation of this Ordinance is punishable by a fine riot exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) plus Court Costs, at the discretion of the court.

5 – 91.4      Repealer

      All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

5 – 91.5      Severability Clause

      If any section, provision, or part of this Ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

5 – 91.6      Effective Date

      Passed and adopted by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners this 5th day of October, 1992.
