CHAPTER 24

SERVICE FEE FOR REAL PROPERTY ENDORSEMENTS BY AUDITOR

2 – 24.1      Purpose

      This Ordinance shall be known and may be cited as the service fee for real property endorsements by Auditor.

2 – 24.2      General Provisions

2 – 24.2-a      Any person or entity requesting a real property endorsement by the Vigo County Auditor shall be required to pay a Three Dollar ($3.00) service charge for such service.

2 – 24.2-b      The Auditor shall place the revenue received under this section in a dedicated fund for use in maintaining plat books.

2 – 24.2-c      This fee is in addition to any other fee provided by law.

2 – 24.3      Repealer

All Ordinances or part of Ordinances -in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

2 – 24.4      Severability Clause

      Should any section, provision, or part of this ordinance be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not effect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

2 – 24.5      Effective Date

      Passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Vigo County on March 1, 1995.
