CHAPTER 22

DUPLICATE TAX RECEIPT FEE

2 – 22.1      Purpose

      This ordinance shall be cited as the Duplicate Tax Receipt Fee Ordinance.

2 – 22.2      Grant Of Authority

      The Treasurer of the County of Vigo, State of Indiana, shall charge 50 cents for any duplicate tax receipt issued to any member of the public requesting same.

2 – 22.3      Repealer

      All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repeated.

2 – 22.4      Severability Clause

      If any section, provision, or part o£ this ordinance is adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

2 – 22.5      Effective Date

A.    Passed and adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Vigo County on August 26th, 1985.
