CHAPTER 8

REPEAL

1 - 8.1      Purpose

To repeal the Vigo County Ordinance entitled County Employees.

1 – 8.2      General Provisions

Effective January 1, 1997, the Vigo County Board of Commissioners adopted an Employee and Management Handbook for Vigo County, Indiana, which Handbook contains the personnel policies applicable to all County employees under the authority of the Vigo County Board of Commissioners. The County personnel policies will continue to be established in a Handbook rather than through an Ordinance.

1 – 8.3      Repealer

Chapter 8 of the Vigo County Code is hereby repealed.

1 – 8.4      Effective Date

Passed and adopted by the Vigo County Board of Commissioners the 2^nd day of June, 1997.
